What happened, is this place still open? Came here 3 different times to get the best hummus that LA has to offer and they were closed but the google says they were open. What happened? Have they really shut down for real? 2/29/24 Tried the under new Management Ta-Eem Grill and it's seriously a waterdown version of the original place. The one on Melrose cut their beets fresh these look from the can. They don't have the tahini. Atmosphere wise the owner could tell I was a new customer by my questions and maybe it would not have bothered me so much, but they way he said hello to other customers surely didn't seem to welcoming. I mean I'm not asking for trumpets but a simple Hi would be nice instead of a stare right through me. Maybe it was how the original owner treated me that makes me so nostalgic. I thought original owner moved but he's retired, and so has the awesome quality that he had to offer, sadly. I remember my 1st time at the original place on Melrose, how the flavors of everything danced on my pilot. Nothing tastes quite the same. Vegetarian options: There veggie plate use to be good.

I love this place! No other kosher restaurant in LA comes close to excellent food and value. I live the schawarma plate. Update: this review was for the old Taeem. Calling this place Taeem is like calling Shasta coke, Coca Cola.

This place appropriates food from another culture, and DOESNT EVEN DO IT PROPERLY!! lmao. They should stick to their lane. Food's a mess, and the people are even worse.

Omgggggg there are no words for this place. I still cant Believe that the food that we just ate was Kosher. I have been Kosher for the past 20 years of my life and ever since i yet to find a place that actually can serve delicious food and actually call it kosher until NOW!!! Beyond delicious food, super flavorful every bite was so well made i still can’t believe it. My Entire family left, extremely happy and fulfilled with the portions. We had so much leftovers for the next day. Their dishes are large portions, and once again extremely delicious. I can’t believe I waited a whole month before I had the opportunity to go here but there’s nowhere else I will be going after this place. Everyone in my family was able to get something they loved from hamburgers to kabobs to Chinese food and way more. I promise you haven’t had real good kosher food till you try it HAVE FUN ENJOY!!

Best kosher mideast cuisine in LA. Please find some way to improve or provide directions to nearby parking. I've given up too often when I've had a Ta'eem craving. Referring to Melrose location, now closed.

This is NOT Ta-Eem Grill. Ta-Eem on Melrose was delicious, fresh, generous. I made the mistake of trying the Pico spot bc I was jonesing for that pita and those fries. What a disappointment. Overpriced to boot. Soggy fries, gristly chicken, old salad, watery hummus. Just horrendous.

Absolutely an atrocity to call this place Ta-Eem. Honestly, HORRIBLE. The old Ta-Eem on Melrose was a god sent and one of my favorite places in LA, this place is trash. Half the portions, food is clearly made without love or fresh ingredients—the quality is what you would expect from a McDonalds (if that). We paid for an extra pita (you used to get two and now only one) and they forgot it. The chicken tastes like wet old feet. The hummus is glue. The Israeli salad is what you expect from a cruise buffet, the other two sides were almost nonexistent. The hot sauce is mayonnaise?! Not the beautiful hot sauce from before. I actually can’t believe how trash this place is, a raccoon wouldn’t even be happy. NEVER going here again and if you loved the old Ta-Eem continue grieving and let me know if you ever find a similar place. This is my hand for portion sizes…pathetic. $30 down the drain
