TacoTime Pacific Centre Mall

I visited the Pacific Center location on Taco Tuesday and was disappointed with the amount of ground beef in the $2 taco offer. The beef barely filled the bottom of the taco shell. As well ordered a combo with Mexi Fries and a drink. The Mexi Fries were cold. The only bright spot was the two hot sauce servings were pretty good, free and a good portion size. The communications with the front counter staff was difficult with the challenge of a language barrier to understand my order. Needless to say I am not happy with this, as Taco Time seemed to have dropped the ball on what was once an enjoyable dining experience for a reasonable price.

TLDR; DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!! I chose taco time for lunch because I collect points through the app. My partner was ahead of me and also collected points through the app with his transaction. I was the next person in line and the cashier told me to pay first before collecting my points for my $13 meal. I showed the cashier my rewards card before ordering, and immediately after paying. But she said I won't get my points this time. She said I have to pay an extra 0.25 bag fee for a dine in order, where I won't get the bag, just to get my points. I asked her to refund me the money and recharge me for the order but this time put in my points. She refused saying that it would mess up her till. I told her the transaction would be fine as she is charging me again. I explained that I just want my points. For me, this is quite a loss of points because the meal price is $13. She just wanted to charge me a bag fee over and over and told me she can't give me my points because she processed the transaction already. I told her she did it for my partner but not for me even after I presented the card before and after paying. She said it happens lots. I think this employee is incompetent in her job and needs to be retrained. After arguing with her for 8 minutes, she took my phone to the other till and then told me my card is invalid/inactive. I told her are you sure you typed in my numbers correctly because my card has points on it from my last transaction so that's impossible also it was on the app. There's no way. This girl straight up refused to give me my points even though it was totally her fault! So now my food is cold and I'm angry with my service. WORST LOCATION EVER!!!! This will be the last time I go to this location and if this girl is working again, I will choose a different food option for lunch. Either retrain your employees better, get working equipment, or don't have it where you have to pay before you get points. This is unfair to the customer!! PLEASE HOLD YOUR EMPLOYEES ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR ACTIONS!

Food exceeded my expectations, to be honest. I didn’t expect beef mince when I ordered beef, but it was still tasty, and fully loaded. Big Burrito! Worth the price.
