Today me and my co-workers decided that we felt like having tacos. Everything was going smoothly until the waiter forgot to put in our orders. He proceeded to tell us that it's the kitchen fault and gave us tostadas, and tortilla soup but that was not gonna fly, we had to wait an extra 30 minutes on top of an hour of us waiting for our food. Once our food was out, we told them to box it up and left. One of my co-workers was missing beans with his order and my tacos didn't even have CORN TORTILLAS!! Which is now not even tacos! Our potatoes were not cut open. Never going back.
Awesome food, thought I was in mexico
Igual de sucio que siempre. Los rabanos del mes pasado. Muy sucio lugar.
Food was excellent, Had the Tampiqueña combo with a Modelo.. so much food I had to take it home.
My visit to Tacos Chinampa left me with mixed feelings. While the flavors were decent, I found the tacos to be a bit greasy, which detracted from the overall experience. Despite this, the food was still enjoyable, and the service was satisfactory. If you’re in the mood for some tacos and don’t mind a bit of grease, Tacos Chinampa might be worth a try.
The food and drinks were wonderful. But I realized I left my hat and gloves inside after closing. I believe the server named Ella* was very accommodating to us. At the end of the night, we realized I forgot my belongings. We happened to stop her as she was leaving. Explained our situation. I've never experienced such rude hospitality. I Asked for her managers number/she gave us..I called the number, Ella answered the phone number she gave us. We will never be back
This place is a gem. The food was so delicious. I had the beef alambre and the appstore tacos. The alambre can be a shared plate. I was impressed with the authentic flavors of the meats. The salsa bar has options for everyone. The pineapple pico de gallo is so yummy, the green salsa and the avocado salsa are super spicy but yummy. I ordered a Michelada but only comes with lemon/lime juice in these parts of the country. I was expecting the clamato and spicy sauce flavors. By the way, this place is very affordable. I recommend this place.
Good place to have authentic food! The restaurant is located next to Embassy Suites, basically same parking area, so that was nice. The service was slow but overall okay.
