Good seafood reasonable prices

I visited Taco Baja on a Friday evening and the line was to the door as we pulled into the parking lot. By the time we parked, got out of the car and approached the back of the line it was out the door and 10 yards down the sidewalk. Some people might find that annoying but I see it as sign that the food is good enough to make these people wait in this lengthy line. The line went surprisingly quick. My dad and I placed our order and proceeded to the patio. Thus was a bit chaotic. There was hot sauce spilled on the floor but after about 10 -15 minutes we gathered our order and maneuvered around the spilled hot sauce, making it safely back to our car. I was worried about the order being correct considering how quickly they took and filled the order but we were pleasantly surprised to find our entire order was perfect. I ordered shrimp tacos with a side of beans. The shrimp tacos were good. The shrimp was breaded and fried, golden. Each taco had about 5 medium sized shrimp, a liberal amount of cabbage and a light creamy sauce. Wrapped in 2 corn tortillas. The beans were decent. Not the best beans I've ever had but not the worst. They could have used a little salt but it was an easy fix. I understand why some places go easy on the salt. Parking: There is a small lot behind the restaurant which is fine while there aren't too many people but once a crowd hits, things get a little tight.

I’m updating my review on Baja Tacos, they still have the best shrimp tacos ever however, today 2/25/24 I came to eat some of my favorite tacos and was given BAD SERVICE. They recently upgraded their restrooms and this is why I believe they lied to me about the restroom when I kindly asked for the restroom key La doñita and the guys in the back were laughing when she said to me, “ay alguien en el baño.” So I knocked at the door because I had been waiting for them to come out for about 10 minutes. Then when I asked her again if I can use the restroom she the stated in Spanish, “oh it’s one of OUR EMPLOYEES he likes to take a long time in the restroom because he is on his break.” I then explained to her that he should not do his breaks in the customers restroom, and they all just continue to laugh at me VERY RUDE. other customers looked at them and agreed with me that they should let this employee know not to do his breaks in customer restroom. However, I believe that if you dear owner of tacos Baja didn’t intend this restroom for your customers, you can be up front and tell your employees to just let us the customer know, instead of downgrading and trying to sound rude.

They close at 7pm now. Need to update the website.

My wife and I have been coming to Tacos Baja for many years for their delicious fish tacos and other items of their menu. Everything is made fresh daily like the refried beans and rice and especially their seafood fresh very day.

Whenever I’m in the area I stop to eat. Love their food. I was upset with the way they conducted business during the pandemic but I’m over it! They deserve 5 stars.
