Taco Mama - Providence

A bit pricey when you take into consideration some of the portion sizes, but honestly, I've never been disappointed. The street corn is unbeatable, and they have a pretty wide selection of tacos. Love it.

A lot better than taco bell! So good. The service is friendly and they will get your order correct.

A fantastic quick bite taco shop with great outdoor seating on a busy street in the Providence area. The fish tacos and burrito here are off the chain mainly because of their house made slaw! Great place for kids and family overall while being a great hang out spot to grab a nice margarita.

A FULL 5 stars hands down for Taco Mama. Their whole team was excellent even without knowing we were here due to being displaced from hurricane Florence. And once they knew, the manager (I am assuming) brought both of our daughters a chocolate chip cookie. This little extra piece of care and hospitality goes a long way and I am so grateful that my kids' happiness mattered to them. We will be back!

1st time here. Having the build your own burrito. It's excellent!! Will definitely be back!!

1st time at this restaurant and I wanted to try it out because it's always busy when I drive by and the location has outdoor seating. It looked more like a sit down restaurant as I walked in but I did see a register where I might be able to order food. The girl at the register asked if I wanted to see a menu and I said yes, and she preceded to hand me a menu. I looked over the menu and there were lots of choices.  Since I hadn't been here before I just kept it simple and ordered a burrito with chicken and a few other items to go in the burrito. I went back to the cashier and ordered and paid for my good. She handed me a small block of wood with a number painted on it and she said this was my order number. I took that and looked around on where I needed to wait for the order. I found an empty table and sat there patiently while watching the college football game on their tv. After a few minutes another employee handed me a plastic bag with my order. I took it home and ate the burrito with the salsa and chips that came with it. It was all very good. The tortilla chips, chicken and salsa were better than most places I've had with similar food.  I can suggest this place without hesitation.

2 stars simply because I won't choose this place again. I did not think it was a value.  For the prices I expected restaurant portions but in actuality my quesadilla seemed small like a Tapas order.  Since everything is self serve I expected the servings to be larger or the prices smaller.  The employees were friendly.  More attention needed to be made on cleanliness.  We skipped our 1st table because although it appeared clean it was very sticky.  The food was average but not bad.
