Really good tacos. However if you have a food allergy they can’t be trusted. I told the waiter quite clearly and he nodded when I told him about my gluten allergy but seemed quite laissez faire about it. There was some confusion about a corn or flour taco at some point. Sure enough I was sick all night. Because somewhere along the way they served me gluten. Not a fan. I don’t like going somewhere that clearly isn’t concerned with making customers sick or respecting allergies. Updated I have them another chance. Not sure why. Long wait for service and food. Food was bland. Once again super sick after as was my husband (who does not have a gluten allergy). Never again
Came in late night and had Katie as our server! I give her 20 stars she was very kind and attentive! Also 10/10 will come back <3
I’m wondering how others have had such different experiences from mine. Taco Flats has my favorite tacos in town and they’re priced totally fairly for the size and amazing quality! Every time I’ve been I’ve left happy and full; I crave the El Hippie and TF Orignal all the time. Any time we have friends visiting I suggest coming here to get the best tacos in Austin!
Best tacos in Austin. What’s not flat is my level of enthusiasm anytime somebody suggests they want to eat at Taco Flats.
The food was alright but I would expect a lot more for the price. Tacos were a little dry. Service was okay. Don’t have a reason to come back.
