The food was sooooooo good

First time eating here visiting from Bakersfield, and I will not ever eat there again! Menudo was dirty, greasy and had no flavor. Meat tasted old and tortillas taste like they were cooked on a dirty grill. For all you know it could have been canned menudo and for $40 dollars, definitely not worth it. You need better cooks.

We visited this week and loved our experience. It was quite slow which I thought was interesting because it was dinner time. The portions were very good. The adults got burritos (surf n turf, carnitas, and taco chico). We bought the girls one taco each (chicken) and one side of rice (they split it). I asked about they chicken and the gentleman gave me a sample for my daughter to try. I appreciated it very much because I've gone to places where she doesn't like it. He didn't have to offer me a sample but he did. A simple gesture goes a long way. We also had the Agua de Sandia and pepino. All of the salsa options are also delicious! We look forward to coming back again soon. Kid-friendliness: He offered me a sample for my daughter to try to ensure she liked it.

Starting with the best: their elote street corn was nuts! Juicy, sweet corn with cheese and tangy tajin. My lengua (beef tongue) burrito was great top to bottom. The muleta was flavorful and the quesadillas were legit. Watermelon fresca water to accompany it. Hoping this place does well, we'll be going back. Update: the food is still good. The service has gone far downhill. You can't call in a pickup order, you can only order online. *If* that works (it didn't for me on consecutive attempts), then just hope they get your order right (also happened to me). The order they got wrong was still delicious. If you go in to order, you still can't talk to anyone, you have to order via tablet. I presume this is a money saving thing, but if they aren't going to get the order right, I would rather be able to talk to someone about it.

This was our first time eating at this place. The place is nice they have a great selection. The food is fresh, and they have very generous portion sizes. The food is probably slightly more than comprable places but the quality and flavor is worth it. The aguas frescas were very good as well.
