Taco Bao'T It

Stopped by on a Saturday night for dinner. Decided to order to go, my food took about 10 minutes to prepare. The crab wontons are some of the best I've ever had. The lomo bao was nice and saucy, but probably would've been better with something to dip them in. The pork belly bao was fairly inedible. The pork was hard and dry and I tossed the entire tray after one bite. The pio pio tacos, like the lomo bao, would've probably been better with a dipping sauce. The tacos also didn't travel well and the taco shells were soggy by the time I had gotten home. The fried Oreos were crispy, not soft and pillowy, but maybe you'll like crispy!

Loved the bao’s but I was disappointed with the chicken wontons. The chicken was too fine to have any texture for a wonton. Tasted sort of bland. The baos are to die for though the chicken and waffle one is my favorite

Great name and concept but unfortunately food is average. I wanted to like this place but the Bao is weak.

I left my original review below. I was very generous with that one considering they ignored me for 5 minutes while I was waiting for a menu to take to my partner so we could decide what to eat, but they flat out ignored me and helped other guests. I was wearing a pleated skirt, converse, and a Hello Kitty jacket and the others were dressed nice so I assume that’s why. My partner convinced me (disgruntled by the poor service atp) to go back to order bc we’d been wanting to try this place for a while. They helped us and the food was amazing! But upon wanting to order again, not even a week later bc the food was amazing, I was met with the same attitude. I called and they greeted me then hung up when I asked to place a pick up. I called back three times after and got a “this person is not available” dial tone. The food is good but getting it is a mission. I probably won’t be returning due to the fact I got treated like trash on two occasions even after giving the benefit of the doubt. TDLR: The food is amazing but their service sucks and they’ll serve you last if you’re not dressed nice :( My original review: The chicken karaage bao was literally to die for. So many great flavors that make me wanna come back again.
