Taco Azul

I had an an mazing experience at Taco Azul, the food and drinks were outstanding, they make everything from scratch, including the tortillas and juices for the drinks, the staff was also amazing and really personable, I’m definitely going back and bringing some more friends!

Great food, fair prices, great prices!!

The food was good. We had the chilaquiles, guac, surf and turf, French toast and tacos Al pastor. The best dish was the chilaquiles, french toast and tacos Al pastor ( I wish the tacos had toppings) The chilaquiles were an amazing combination of crunchy and moist and the beans were an amazing touch. The surf and turf lacked flavor and the steak was chewy. But, the smokiness was delicious! I did not appreciate that we sat down and were automatically asked for our food order and no one took our drink order. Throughout the course of our meal and after finishing our meals, no one came to ask how our food was or if we wanted another drink. Our drinks remained empty the entire time. We wanted a desert and had to ask to see the menu because we were automatically prompted with a question, pertaining to leaving. After we finished our deserts, no one asked if we wanted anything else and were brought the check and questioned with “Cash or Card?” No thank you for coming or anything. They ring you up at your own table which in my honest opinion, is very awkward. Especially when it comes to tips. I had higher expectations and mainly when it came to service. But, was sadly disappointed. Also, FYI we asked for extra chips for our guac since it was shared amongst 4 people and I was CHARGED $2.00 FOR CHIPS on my bill. Never in my life has this happened at any establishment I have been to.

Simply Amazing! The guacamole and chips are outstanding. I had the esquites, al pastor taco, steak taco, and carnitas taco. Every single order was just full of flavor. The music volume was great, could still talk to the other people in your party, the drinks were strong, the staff was very friendly and made sure we always had what we needed. We will definitely be back soon.

I love coming here ! Omar who doubles up as a server and an AMAZING bartender is so phenomenal. He provides great service , no matter if it’s super busy , a slow day or in between … he continues to make our experience at this establishment worth while . I enjoy everyone here as well . I just want to magnify the way Omar has made a 30 min drive necessary no matter the day or time just to experience his personable service . Also the passion fruit Shrimp ceviche is SOOOOO GOOD .

Requested 2 margaritas. Waitress asked me if wants Tequila Patron or another brand. I told her Patron. They charged me additional for the shot. They should be telling me that is an additional charge for Tequila Patron. Guacamole taste like Cosco plastic container guacamole. Salad bowl was soggy.!! Better places in Jackson Hights.

Immaculate eats food tastes clean, and staff is attentive. get the ceviche . Thank me later ✨️✨️ And the tamarind/pineapple margarita is absolutely delicious. I also had their shrimp and fish tacos Definitely will visit them again

This place should be called Yummy Ville ✨️✨️ oh my goodness the food tastes clean..the ceviche was divine, and out of this world the shrimp and fish tacos were delicious To top it off, I had their tamarind and pineapple Margarita...do yourself a favor and grab the Friday size you won't regret it...yum yum in my tum tum
