Positives: First off and most importantly, the food is fantastic. The dishes are well prepared, well seasoned and overall just great. Service was good, waitstaff were friendly and worked quick (although it was quiet). The oxtail was well cooked and served in a good size portion, a recommended dish! Negatives: the place lacks atmosphere, it truly is a mix between upscale dining and hotel lobby bar. The food comes out too quick, we were done with appetisers and mains within 30 mins, total experience lasted just under an hour, could stage longer times between courses. The wine list is pretty poor, selling a $13 - bottle Malbec for $12 a glass - some reasonable bottles on the wine list but most are at least 100% mark up.
Always a wonderful experience coming here. Great menu and prompt service even without a reservation.
Amazing menu of southern foods transformed with internationally flavors! It's on the $$$ side but perfectly reasonable for special occasions.
We tried the tuna tacos. They were ok. I just didn't care for the Wasabi. I had oxtail. It was good, perfectly season. For the price, they should have given me more than one oxtail. Most place give you about 2 for $40. She had a steak, and she was very satisfied. Would love to go back and try other dishes.
OMG!! This restaurant creates the perfect ambience. I believe every entrée on the "à la carte" is absolutely amazing. Our server was fantastic and know exactly what to recommend. Looking to experience a romantic evening, this is the place.
First and foremost, the drinks and service were great! The food was OK at best. Not worth the money. The octopus appetizer was bland and rubbery. The medium steak we ordered had no pink in it. The shrimp and grits were good, but $40 is wild for 4 shrimp and grits. If they have a happy hour, I’d go back for drinks! But can’t say I’d go back to dine.
Was kinda hard to find the place as it's inside a hotel. The place looks great, modern and fancy. The server was very nice, the food was ok.
My friend and I visited Table 28 for my birthday dinner and I really enjoyed myself. They were able to seat us immediately without a reservation. The atmosphere is nice and the quality of service was good. Our waiter took time to explain the menu options to us. I enjoyed my food and appreciated a complimentary birthday treat which was the sticky toffee pudding. It is one of their most popular desserts and it was amazing. Parking: The parking lot is associated with the hotel so parking may be limited.
I visit Little Rock once a year for work. I always make a point to take my clients to Table 28 to experience the amazing food and service. This place is truely a diamond in the rough. Do not leave without trying their "Greens"! I could drink the juice or perhaps add it to the best bloody Mary ever!! Cheers to the chefs and front of house here! Job Well Done!
