A gem! Stumbled upon Table 21 after declining another restaurant nearby. The perfect spot with a lovely atmosphere, delicious food and fantastic service. Chef Laurel was wonderful from the moment we stepped through the door and Adam made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Next trip to NY we will definitely be stopping back in for dinner.
My experience dining here was decent, and the staff was very polite. Firstly, we were the only ones sitting down at this time so the staff was very attentive. We were able to pick our own table, and the host even offered to move us to a bigger table. I ordered the Margarita pizza, and it was pretty good. I wish they offered a larger size, but they put a fair amount of toppings on. The atmosphere here was inviting as well, and we got to enjoy the game while eating. My main complaint would be the lack of free soda refills. I ordered soda assuming the refills would be free because the glasses were so thin/small. Each refill only counted for around 3 or 4 sips. When eating pizza and salty food, I get a bit thirsty and would recommend some bigger cups. In addition, I recommend offering free refills. Something like this is a difference between 4 and 3 stars because my irritation looking at the bill said it all. 3 dollars per refill for my diet cokes; that was a let down. Firstly, charging 3 bucks for a drink with free refills is enough, but I know for a fact that there was not an entire bottle or can of cola in my cup. This was probably half a can, or two thirds if I had to guess. This is something that is important because I WILL NOT touch my food unless there is a drink next to me. When you go to a store, a single can is around one dollar or 1.50 so I don’t really want to pay three bucks when it is not even refillable and less than a can. Had I known this, I would have slowly rationed my soda and ended the night thirsty. Clearly, I did not know because I ordered a few. Either way, I lose because I am either in need of something to drink, or I am upset that there are no free refills. I would be open to coming back if they offered free refills on soda. I only say this because I am someone who needs a beverage (primarily soda) with every meal so something like that really dents the experience. Overall, the food was decent and the atmosphere was not bad. I know the food is the main attraction here and not the soda, this is just an example of how something small can greatly impact an experience.
Kid-friendliness: I go there after work and Frannie is the best, shes very nice and has great conversation, and makes the atmosphere at the bar super dope!!!
