Richard is an amazing cook and always takes care of us. Would highly recommend giving this restaurant a try.

We are at the teppanyaki table and the food and service were both very good. Highly recommend. Kid-friendliness: Brought kids (8, 10) and it was great for both.

Royce was our cook. The food was excellent. My favorite teppanyaki in OC for sure.

This is a really good place to come for great Japanese style cooking, They do the whole cooking in front of you and they also have a great sushi bar. I've been coming here for a couple of years and the experience and the food is always great every time ask for Richard he's our favorite chef tell Richard "Smokey Fred" sent you.

Tabi-ji is an amazing alternative to the high priced teppanyaki restaurants. The staff was so friendly and the food was delicious. For a steak dinner with appetizers for two the total was $70. I also wanted to personally say thank you to the main host who I believe was named Justin. Again, so friendly and made the experience that much better.
