I am confused how the reviews are showing a 4.7. I would say it is like a 6/10. The service was slow, we ran out of water and after asking for more,it took about 7 minutes. That is a long time while you are in the edge of choking. The barbecue and food itself was slightly above average. The barbecue was way too sweet. Too much sugar
My husband and I decided to visit Charleston, SC, for the weekend. We ended up googling barbecue restaurants, and who would have known that the restaurant food, service, and atmosphere would be great. As we waited for our waitress to assist us, one of the cooks asked if we knew what we were ordering. We looked at each other, and then I looked at the cook and responded No. He replied I'll send out a sample plate. The sample plate had beef brisket, pulled pork, sausage, and smoked turkey on it. Just to let you know, the food was delicious. I chose to build my own and had the beef brisket, pulled pork, macaroni & cheese. Potato salad. Now I wasn't a fan of the potato salad, it had the taste of sour cream overload. The lemonade was very tart to me. Now for our waitress, Ms. Kirby was amazing. Her personality was amazingly pleasant. We thank you for your amazing service. Ms. Kirby, I pray many blessings of favor upon you and your brother. And blessings upon Swig and Swine business.. Parking: There's about 4 parking spaces on the left side of the building and maybe 3 or 4 in the front of the building.
