We walked in on a warm Sunday evening. The outside was full, so we sat at a booth inside which was cozy and comfortable. The waitress was great - very accommodating and attentive. The drinks are VERY GOOD. We got the furikake fries, tacos, and sliced short ribs - all were excellent. Good drinks, good vibe, good food.

Just okay. Server Christopher was polite and very friendly (although not as knowledgeable of the cocktail menu). Walked away to inquire with the bartender and never returned on an empty floor. Tuna poke appetizer was perfectly cooked and strangely much more appetizing than the main. Main’s tuna was tough and despite being drenched in sauce, lacked any flavor, was accompanied with ok plain rice and their ok version of a pico de gallo. Underwhelming. Important: If you’re looking for a date night location this may not be it. We weren’t allowed to sit in (one of the two available) booths despite arriving before rush and a couple occupying the third. Nbd. Your only choice will be at the bar or 1 single long communal high top table. Would’ve stayed longer and ordered more if we were comfortable in a booth. In the end, the booths were never occupied by any larger party. Good cocktails, lukewarm bartender, inability to enjoy a sit-down meal, and fresh but bland mains…so probably won’t return to test them out again. (Great corn!)

wow. loved this place. amazing food and service and drinks. very fun and unique cocktails. Christopher is an amazing server - we were there on a very busy night and he was friendly and helpful the whole time.

I love the food and cocktails at sweet talk - have been many times! The tots are a sleeper hit, the poke was fresh, the kahlua pork is excellent in any form (taco, on nachos, plate). However, after our experience tonight, I won't be returning, at least not on a Sunday. There was an extremely loud bartender - literally screaming - with absolutely no self awareness or boundaries. We couldn't get through a few sentences of conversation without him exclaiming or singing so loudly that the whole restaurant would turn to look. We presumed he was coked out. He also came and literally sat down at our table to "check in on us", and directly interrupted us at least 2 other times (to tell us that our takeout bag looked like an owl from far away?), cleared plates while we were still eating, took at least 3 shots, and made shots for everyone in the restaurant which did not make up for his WILD behavior. In 13 years of living in this city, I have never felt so uncomfortable. The wait to get our cards back so we could run out of there felt like hours. Our server was also inattentive at times and taking shots while we were waiting to order.

This place was great, service was incredible and food was delicious. I mean, that’s everything you need from a restaurant!! ♥️ ♥️

The food is mediocre, I had the poke bowl. The drinks were great, really, and the bartender was attentive and knowledgeable. Seating is limited and apparently only available to select people. Atmosphere is a one star bc we were told "I can't seat a two top at a booth" so we sat at the bar. The next two tables were two tops sat in booths. This isn't a small detail to me, and I finished my evening elsewhere.
