Sweetleaf Coffee & Cocktail Bar

I don’t love the coffee here, but it’s good enough, and the pastries, atmosphere, and service are on point. Great place to stop in for a bit on my walk to walk around the waterfront.

Stopped in here once for coffee during the day and another time at night when it turned into a “club” atmosphere. Live DJ and all. The coffee (some Vietnamese coffee variation) tasted burnt so never got coffee here again and their cocktails are filled only 50-80% of the glass. I had ordered a few of the same cocktails throughout the night but they were never the same cocktail each time. Consistency should be important… but not here I guess. Why not use smaller glasses rather than those huge heavy tall glasses? Also, their overpriced shots came in those small plastic barely 1oz shot containers. Definitely not somewhere I’d recommend for either coffee or alcoholic beverages. Employees behind the bar were only interested in serving their friends or regulars - they really could not care less for anybody else.

Excellent place, fun ,great service!

Coffee was good and my wife enjoyed her cocktail. We never seen black salt on a drink. The staff was nice but they did take a little long to cut a piece of cake and banana loaf. The carrot cake was great but the banana loaf was not so much. Tasted bland and burnt but I doubt they made it to order. Needless to say I finished ever crumb of my cake and only one bite was taken out of that “loaf.” Otherwise cool place would be back to see how the evenings are

Comfortable, cozy bar and coffee shop. Food and drinks are great. More comfy chairs would make it even better.

The people who work here make this coffee shop the best in LIC in my opinion. Everyone is so kind, takes the time to explain to you different options. The coffee is amazing as well and sustainably sourced which I didn’t know until recently. Highly recommend.
