Sweet Moon

Delicious pastry, every bite takes me back to my memories. Definitely recommend.

Sweet Moon is very Instagrammable, if that’s your thing, including fake grass on the wall. I prefer serenity over cuteness. I ordered a latte and an almond croissant. There is table service which is nice. The latte was okay, but the croissant was either stale or over-baked. I arrived a little after noon and most of the people were there working and having meetings (without headphones). The acoustics along with the music made it very loud. I only stayed 15 minutes, because I got a headache. Perhaps at another hour it might be quieter, but I wouldn’t come here if you want to concentrate or read a book.

Friendly service, lovely atmosphere, fantastic (and unique) menu. It's only a matter of time until Sweet Moon is "discovered."

Amazing breakfast place. Crepes and waffles are so delicious. Omelette with mortadella is great too.

Cashier was rude, came here to pick up treats for my mom who’s being treated in the hospital nearby and got a nasty attitude instead. Food was mid for the price. Hopefully you interact with someone nicer behind the counter if you’re willing to spend your money here.

By far one of the best bakeries in Chicago, friendly staff and incredible atmosphere. Their savory dishes are amazing too, 10/10!

The plating at Sweet Moon is so exquisite that I imagine a chef using a pair of tweezers to meticulously place each item to be displayed on the dish. My mother and I talk for at least two minutes about the layout and design of the plated food before diving in and being even more amazed by the flavor combinations. My favorite menu item is the Merengue Roulette, a gluten-free merengue with mascarpone pistachio cream, raspberry jam, baked almond, and whole pistachios. For such well-crafted and well-balanced dishes, the wait time is not long, usually not exceeding 10 minutes. Although the place is typically always filled with people all customers are respectful of the noise level and it is quiet and serene. Great place to work or catch up with a friend!

We've been here several times, we really like it, everything is very tasty. I love ordering desserts here.

Can’t believe I waited so long to try this place. So good. Everything (quinoa salad and dessert) tasted great, and I liked the calm atmosphere too.
