I purchased my birthday cake back in January. I tried to get in contact with a employee from the store to see if I could make a little minor changes to my cake on the day I purchased my cake but it was very hard to get in contact with a employee, I kept calling and after a week in a half later I finally got in contact with somebody from the store. The employee was very helpful and told me that they were unable to make any changes and my cake that I purchased has to be like the actual cake that was displayed on there website, I was okay with that. The day of pick up, I was very happy on how my cake came out, they did a good job but I wished they would have used real cherries instead of fake cherries and also I wished the cake wasn’t a little dry but overall I was happy with my cake. is a child issuing these orders???? i've ordered from here before and i don't remember having issues, but i ordered 2 cakes and only one showed up which was a combination of the 2, so then i asked for a second cake. both cake instructions i sent had bullet points and references so im not sure what got lost. just got my second cake and it is once again incorrect. they didn't even use the correct size pan. the only thing i can think of is a kindergartener reading the emails to the bakers because what is this

I ordered a $400 worth of custom cookies. This was a time sensetive delivery and I watched delivery updates carefully. When delivery was running late, I called and emailed customer service for both UPS & Sweet E's Bake Shop to verify delivery. No answer. The delivery never arrived. Our event passed with no cookies. 6 days later, I finally got ahold of Sweet B's Customer Service who blankly stated "the address provided was never updated. That was the address given at time of purchase." No assistance or guidance was given and now I am out $400 with NO COOKIES. Cool.

I ordered a $200 cake for my partners birthday on Christmas Eve. waited ALL day for delivery/ called and emailed customer service roughly 20 times, delivery never arrived. No phone back, no customer service that you can speak to, no email response. Big Sugar Bake shop (studio city) is a million times better

Felt compelled to leave this review to balance out the others because I had nothing but an amazing and efficient experience with this cake shop! The quality and taste of the cake was DELISH. I hosted a NYE party and everyone loved it, the red velvet cake tasted so light and fresh and rich. I also had a minor change after ordering and they responded and corrected immediately. The delivery driver arrived as promised during the delivery window. And when I called that morning I was able to reach someone after two tries. A little pricey but I would order again.

Honestly I was quite disappointed with this place. For the price you pay you would think customer serivce would be better and taste/quality would be better. The designs are pretty but it doesn't taste good, especially the cupcakes. I also tried reaching customer service to make an edit to my order via phone AND email and received no answer nor response. I ordered a cake and cupcakes; the cake was pretty but the buttom of the frosting was already cracking and falling off when it was delivered and the flavor wasn't that great. The cupcakes LOOKED nice but the taste was lacking. Even the frosting wasn't good. I've had much better cake and cupcakes from the grocery store. I can't even describe the taste of these products, like flavorless wax and chemicals or something. I won't be ordering from here again.

After an exhaustive two-week effort to place an order for custom holiday cupcakes and cookies destined for our clients, primarily in the LA Area, with a few exceptions, the frustration has reached an intolerable level. This ordeal began on December 1st, and as of today, December 13th, the order remains unresolved. Numerous attempts to contact the business have been met with disappointment. Phone calls yield no response, and the voicemail is perpetually full. Email communication with customer service representative Nitza has been equally fruitless, with three consecutive days passing without a single response. The quality of customer service in this instance has been nothing short of disappointing and, frankly, infuriating. This experience stands in stark contrast to my previous positive encounter with the business, which is why I returned as a customer. It's disheartening to witness such a decline in service from a company I once held in high regard. In all honesty, I cannot recommend this business to others, unless one possesses the patience of a saint and lacks any time-sensitive constraints for their order. The once-reliable and efficient service I experienced in the past seems to be a distant memory, and it pains me to witness such a drastic decline in a business I once valued.

Added: just reviewed my order and I have to disclose the order does say square cookies, even though the conversations regarding the order where for gingerbread men. I should have fully reviewed the order before approval. However the cookies are NOT gingerbread flavored. 12/3I order $2,500. worth of gingerbread men cookies with logo for a gingerbread themed event. It was never disclosed the cookies would be square & not gingerbread men. All the photos I saw online were gingerbread men. I cannot believe I spent $2,500 dollars on cookies I've could have received local on the east coast. The communication was slow and at certain points had no idea if my order was being followed through. This is all AFTER I paid. To top it all off they are NOT GINGERBREAD!!!! $2,500 for an inaccurate order. I'm EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED DISSAPOINYED VERY UPSET!!!! INFURATTED CUSTOMER WHO WILL NEVER DO BUISNESS HERE EVER

The cookies are good, but the place doesn't care for your business. Tried to order a bunch of holiday gifts and you could not get a person to answer the phone or even return a call or email.

My delivery didn’t make it in time or at all. You can’t get anyone on the phone to help with your problem. They won’t email you back with any info. Good luck getting your order.
