Sweet Chive

My daughter recently brought my wife and I here on our trip to Austin. She refers to Sweet Chive as her comfort place, and I can see why. Phoenix and the staff treated us like family. Everything was absolutely amazing. We loved the creamed corn dumplings, chili won tons, chive pancakes, bao, sushi, flowering chive, SAKE, and don’t skip the tres leches dessert. We can’t wait to come back and visit soon. Best kept Austin gem

Food was amazing and the atomsphere was holsom. The staff were very friendly and took pride in the food they made. My only true criticism is that I didn’t like the noodles texture. I would’ve love a more starchy and fresh noodle. The favor was amazing so I didn’t matter much!

Great Food and Great Service!

Really enjoyed our meal here! The food was excellent and our server was extremely nice. We stuck to the Taiwanese menu so we can’t speak for the sushi but the dumplings and the rice dish we had were fantastic. Loved the wagyu beef dumplings and the scallion pancake sliders!

Great place if you want to try out some new dishes you might not have had before.. small place great date spot. I plan to keep going back to try out more of the menu. I recommend trying the Spicy Chili Wontons and the pork pan fried dumplings. Service was quick/fantastic and the owner Phoenix is an amazing person! There's a happy hour menu with half off appetizers and drinks if you show up a bit earlier too
