Sweet Cake

I found the longan red date tea to be nourishing. It is sweet so ok pairing with other dessert. The sesame burnt cheesecake is creamy . It was served on a paper plate. The inside has some sauce to it as well. The food and drink were served on a bamboo tray. These things made the place feel more causal than upscale. This is not a good place for groups as there are limited tables, first come first serve.

This dessert shop was very cute, and their cakes did look good. But they had zero vegan dessert options. (At least most of them had allergen labeling in front of them to confirm this before asking the staff.) There seemed to be no non-dairy options for their beverages with milk added. I got a very basic jasmine green tea, which was fine. Several tables indoors to sit and chat, and nice artwork to complement the atmosphere.

Delicious cake and lychee tea

With all the bakeries in flushing they all start to taste the same after a while but what stands out about sweet cake is their unique flavors. I came in with a group and we had a hard time choosing what to eat. Each slice of cake tasted fresh. The one that stood out was the sesame boba puff. If you like sesame then I recommend this dessert. Also the boba they put on was chewy. The staff was attentive and friendly. They had a sliced earl grey cake that I will order the next time I go. I also see that their cakes were nicely decorated and at a reasonable price. If you are into mom and pops shops and are tired of the big name bakeries out there then stop by this cafe.

Friendly staff, flavorful and creative desserts and drinks. Tiramisu was very good.

I tried the yakult green tea and it tasted like water but worse. The man that took my order did not show any politeness.

Amazing coffee and they gave me a free nougat sample which was delicious! Such a cute spot.

Cute spot with super unique desserts! Drinks were okay, maybe I'll have to come back and try them again. Would recommend!

Everyone please look at this BEAUTIFUL cake that I got yesterday!! Mango and taro flavor, the top with layer mango cake with mango frosting and mango fruit chunks and the bottom with real taro layer. $38 which is not a bad price for a unique fresh cake, can feed 10 ppl. Cute decorations for CNY and when I told them it was for my mom’s bday they gave me a handmade sign!! Everyone loved the cake, even my cousin who doesn’t like to eat cake and my dad who complains about the quality/price of everything we buy outside had two slices the cashiers were so sweet and had the cake wrapped up beautifully with candles, mini plates and utensils. They even gave me free nougat candies when I checked out. I am so happy with my purchase, can’t wait to come back and try other flavors!

Staff was super friendly! Desserts were all delicious and pleased the eyes! Love the sesame earl grey cake, a perfect balance of nuttty flavors and tea flavors, light while satisfied the sweet tooth. Taro cheesecake, creamy cheesecake layer with an earthy taro layer at the bottom. Favorite, pineapple cake. The shortbread crust was buttery, crumbly with moist and fibrous pineapple filling.
