Catering from Sweet Auburn was the best!! We decided this year to have our Super Bowl party catered by Sweet Auburn, and it was the best decision ever! There was ample amounts of food and it was all delicious. Working with Shawn was the best! She was such a delight to work with, and created the best catering package for us.
Good food! I split a brisket egg roll order with my sister and I had the pulled pork bowl and cole slaw for my entree. The egg rolls were okay. It comes w a sweet chili sauce but I would have preferred hot mustard or a garlic chili oil - a more savory sauce. The pork bowl was a lot of food. Creamy grits, flavorful pulled pork and the pickles made it perfect. Not a fan of the cole slaw so I ate my sister's mac and cheese. That was very good. Unique flavor. I got the cinnamon roll bread pudding for dessert. Delicious with the ice cream. Brittany was an amazing server. Attentive, knew the menu well, and made great recommendations. I went home with an order of cornbread and Brunswick stew.
Brittany greeted us with the warmest, most welcoming smile. She was able to describe what we asked about but not totally accurately. The food was MUCH better than I expected! I ordered the Southern Seoul sandwich and it definitely calls for a return visit!
The one in McDonough is a lot better The food was really dry and they ran out of a few items.
I've passed by this place for years. I finally decided to stop and grab dinner. What a disappointment!!! I got the 2 meat dinner with ribs, sausage, backed beans and Brunswick stew. The ribs had a good amount of fat on them which was disturbing. On top of that as another reviewer stated the ribs are not grilled they seem to be possibly baked or something. The taste of the sauce was horrible. It's Luke a semi burnt molasses taste. The sausage was dry. The baked beans were a mixture of beans, they were decent but not really my thing. The Brunswick stew had 0 flavor, no corn no nothing. It was meat in a flavorless sauce. I'm not sure if other reviewers have ever had really bw before or not but their reviews definitely don't match my experience. The price for my dinner was around $26 which is expensive for what the call half a slab but was in 4 bones. I'm sure a full slac of ribs. Comes with more than 8 bones. Nevertheless I've tried them and I'm pretty sure that I won't be back
Awesome service Brittany! Great food
Britney was wonderful and food amazing. Thank you Sweet Auburn!
