not fresh sashimi, the pork ramen has a very strong meat smell, but adding the condiments makes it taste quite good. uses less msg than other places, which i appreciated. The prices are very reasonable. It seemed that if you know the chef, you get good fish, but if you don't, you get fish that is quite bad.
Portions are plenty big. Everything we ordered was very tasty. The service was terrific. A perfect dinner. Very satisfied. Very enjoyable.
While low-key and hidden away, Susuki Shokudo is probably the best Japanese restaurant in Queens, and one of my favorite in NYC overall. Such a friendly staff with the cutest decor and excellent food. The chicken cutlet is my favorite. Excellent place for a work-day lunch or a dinner date.
ランチはカウンターランチではチラシ寿司がお勧め テーブルではサーモンテリヤキやランチスペシャルが人気があります 夜は予約するのがお勧めです
