Delicious cakes and cupcakes at this cute place in downtown San Carlos. Ordered two birthday cakes for a milestone birthday celebration, and everything turned out perfectly. Thank you for the friendly and efficient service! Finding parking in downtown San Carlos can be difficult, though.

The cakes are very good . We love loved their carrot cake and the coconut cake . Only thing is that the coconut pineapple cake the frosting is extremely sweet . We just have to spit it out . I understand cake is not necessarily a healthy thing , but it would be really great if they can reduce the sweetness in the icing and if possible the cakes themselves. If its not that sweet then 5 stars all the way.

Cupcakes are rather pricey for being rather ordinary. Workers are snippy. Good for cakes, not for snacks or desserts.

Oh Susie Cakes! My pick-me-up whenever I am having a bad day. So good and you can tell they use high quality real ingredients. My favorites are the red velvet, lemon, coconut, and lemon cheesecake. I bought a cake for a friend's birthday party and she said it was the best cake she has ever had in her life! Only wish they still had the pup treats outside or for sale, my dog absolutely loved them and he still looks at me with sad eyes whenever we walk past Susie Cakes.

Cute shop with cakes and cupcakes, cookies too. I was a little worried it would be overly sweet, I am glad I was wrong. The texture was great, moist too. If you wanted to "reduce" the sweetness, skip the frosting. We picked up a total of 3 slices to try: coconut, carrot cake and the celebration one with confetti. The group really liked the coconut, it had a nice texture. The celebration was fun with the many colors and also a good bite. My favorite is usually always the carrot. The service was nice. Each cake came in a box in case you were going to share it. It went well with a coffee down the street. Next time I might try the 6-layer chocolate which the salesperson said was one of the popular cakes.

The terrible service here definitely worth a one star review. People inside the store barely listened to your question.
