This place is always so slow. I think they are used to not having business. Only one waiter or waitress w no pep in the step. I love sushi, it’s convenient to come here but every time I do the service is so slow and sub par and pretty sure a fruit fly was swirling round my head
This place is horrible. The service is the worst you can get. There is hardly any staff and the one waitress they have has attitude. No customer service at all. The food was not fresh at all. We did not get our food at the same time. Some of us finished and there were still two people waiting for their food. The restaurant smells ugly too. Skip this place!
They are permanently CLOSED!!!!
Service is good, aesthetic is nice, Sushi is trash. Felt sick after eating here. Reminds me of gas station sushi quality.
Everything was quite delicious. And the presentation was phenomenal. Holly enjoyed it yet again.
Yes, the service was slow because there’s staffing shortage (as anywhere in the US), but the quality of food is really good. All the staffs are friendly & they’re doing the best they can to make sure we had a great dinner. We will come back.
The sushi sushi in San Antonio are pretty nice in my experience, this austin location was depressing at best but could just be a sign of the times
UPDATE! THIS LOCATION IS PERMANENTLY CLOSED. Downtown is still open :) I have been coming here for years & have seen changes in management. Even through this I have never had a bad experience. The team listens well & always welcoming. They have made a few slight adjustments to their menu in the past but nothing too noticable if you only go for their sushi & drinks. If I recall correctly, Happy hour is now from 3-6. I also recommend this restaurant if you're just beginning your sushi journey.
