Great people, great food

My favorite sushi spot for the vibes alone. Dining in is also a great time. They are BYOB with a liquor store around the corner which is great. Would highly recommend. The sushi is always on point and surprisingly their dessert platter has some of the best cakes I’ve had too.

I live around the corner from this sushi spot and never knew it was here. Lol. I'm not sure that I was fully convinced by the flavors, but it was good enough for me to give it another try. I really liked the interiors—the perfect amount of lighting and music choice. My only comment for improvement would be not to play sports on the projection wall. It kinda kills the vibe of the place, particularly because the aesthetics of the restaurant seem to be completely different from a sports restaurant. From my view, the idea of this place is to create a Japanese urban feel. It would be cool to see this portrayed on the projection screen. I know Japan has some cool urban history. +prices are affordable

We always have a great experience when we eat at sushi x. Great food! You won’t get disappointed :)

The worst sushi we have ever had. Instead of high end sushi for Sunday dinner, we had rice pudding, old fishy fish, wrapped in nori. It was gross, smelly, and inedible so we binned it. Why is this place still open? You guys gotta want better so better can exist. Are the reviews for this place fake or what? There is no way that many people like rice pudding with fishy fish wrapped in Nori??? I can't trust these reviews anymore. So mad we wasted $100 on mediocre.
