Freshest sashimi and nigiri!

One of the best sushi places I’ve tried in Edmonton. We got salmon donburi, chopchop negiri and aburi salmon maki. Would recommend trying all of them as the chopchop and salmon melted in my mouth! Also great service! Sooo goood

Sushi Wasabi is the best Japanese restaurant in Edmonton for traditional style Japanese sushi. Though they have a rather limited menu and the prices are higher than other places, the quality of their food is amazing. I’d rate them 9/10. Some of the items that are definitely worth getting are - Assorted sashimi - Chop chop cone - Negitoro cone - Their special rolls

Amazing food! Very fresh and delicious. We got seated no problem as we went early but I recommend making a reservation. Great service as well! We’ll be back.

It’s easy to come across new Japanese restaurants opening up in the city these days, but I can say with all my confidence that this place will always remain as my favourite. This place offers an authentic, homey and cozy Japanese dining experience but this experience comes with a compact space, so make sure you book a reservation in advance. Anything with their aburi salmon is a must-try and so is their nebeyaki udon. They don’t have the fastest service so I wouldn’t recommend this place if you are looking to grab a quick bite to eat.

Fantastic food! Very authentic and it brought back memories of my grandmother. Delicious salmon, perfectly fried, melt in your mouth. Perfect balance of sweet and sour. Worth the price. Truly great food.

Always a delight eating here. The best in traditional Japanese sushi in the city.

just moved into the neighbourhood, so excited to find our new go-to sushi spot! Everything was fast, fresh and delicious with amazing prices as well! Thank you sushi wasabi we will definitely be back :)
