Best Omakase in Bay Area!!!

You could walk by this place a dozen times before seeing it. It’s just a small nondescript storefront with seating for 10 around a sushi chef that puts on a show and excellent meal. We had a nice date night here. The sushi is very unique and I had a number of things I’ve never tasted before (eg monkfish liver). The fish were great and they mixed it up with a few hot/cooked dishes as well, wrapping it up with a sesame pudding for dessert. Overall more filling than many omakase but not too much so. Parking: We managed to park right out front on the street.

Excellent omakase meal. The Chef's skill was a on great display and a pleasure to take in. Every bite was fresh and different. The staff was very attentive and welcoming. All made for an memorable meal. Will be back! Thank you!

Incredible Japanese counter dining experience, with only capacity for 9 people, and the chance to watch this chef’s creative artistry up close! Fine selection of Japanese rice wine and other treats. It’s expensive, AND worth it if you’re looking for a mini-vacation to Japan without leaving home. Worth the money!!
