The food is great and so was the service. The place is small and could use some updating, but it was clean and inviting. My only complaints were that they used a little too much rice in their rolls, and the "Samshimi Special" was huge chunks of fish, which made the pieces chewy.
Austin 출장 중에 머문 호텔 근처의 매우 맛있었던 일식집. 점심 special 메뉴들이 특히 너무 잘 구성되어있고 맛있었다. 추천한다!
Came here on Fat Tuesday for all you can eat sushi, oh yes More than a few pieces were way too big for one bite, abnormally so. It was busy, service was very slow, waiter forgot drinks and seemed overworked. I got a comped sake since it was forgotten for so long and a piece of mochi gratis.
Ok, has it happened to you that you go into a place not expecting much just by the look at it? Well I definitely judged this place by the looks of it...., boy was I wrong! I mean, I'm not giving 5 stars to atmosphere, but THE FOOD! wow wow wow. One of the best suchi I've ever had. Pro tip: flip the menu and make sure you try one of the rolls on the big list.
The place smells so bad, the rolls are 90% rice, the salmon on top was like a ham slice, server didn't ask for drinks refill, or bring any Wasabi and the plates were all broken.
Junai just isn't what it used to be. The rice is warm, and the fish is frozen. I keep thinking that next time will be better, but it never is. The only silver lining is this one waitress — she always remembers us and never fails to deliver amazing service. Aside from her, coming here doesn't feel worth it anymore.
I am absolutely appalled and angry at the way my partner and I were just treated at this location. We were completely and noticeably ignored from the second we were seated. The server kept skipping our table, but had no problem attending all the tables directly surrounding us, delivering food and checking on them them while we just sat there waiting. After about 10 minutes of waiting, my partner had to stop the server and ask for menus and water. Then we waited another 15 minutes before we had to signal the server to come again (while he was still being very attentive to the two tables directly next to us) to take our order. He writes it down and then comes back 30 minutes later to apologize for the wait, says they’re back up on orders and the proceeded to ask us what our order was again, insinuating that our order was never taken down. It was completely obvious we were being ignored and honestly, I can’t help but feel like it was for homophobic reasons. In retrospect, we were patient enough to be disrespected for about an hour to later be confirmed that we were completely overlooked. We were so insulted that we just left. Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever received.
Such a nice all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant.
