Great service fantastic Omakase. Traditional omakase with only ingredients in season. The toro cheek and miso marinated roe are so delicious with a perfect balanced flavor!
My family ate a LOT of top notch sushi during our recent 2 week trip to Japan, but we kept remarking how this, our regular neighborhood sushi spot, compares so equally to these famous sushi houses. We really get world-class quality under the care of Chef Tachikawa and his team! We will be back as soon as the sushi itch strikes again!
Incredible sushi, really personalized friendly service, and great vibes! Also very nice that the meal includes appetizers, soup, and desserts, unlike a lot of other omakase places.
Based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews, we were so excited to dine at this restaurant, but when we arrived we found a sleeping employee inside the restaurant and were told that dinner starts with over $100 and we’d have no choice in what is being served. We found that extremely weird and left.
Never done Omakase before, chose this spot due to all the good reviews. $145 per person, but I think you get what you pay for. Very cool experience and everything tasted delicious (wasn’t a fan of the sea urchin - but had never had before so was still cool to try). The waitress does a great job explaining how you should eat everything and describing the appetizers+desert, while the chef describes the sushi. She also recommended me a bottle of sake, which I really liked. Overall, if you want to try omakase, I think this is a great choice.
