March 2024 (updated review): Shrinkflation is incredible here. I'm thinking now it's greedflation too! The menu items have significantly shrunk, accompanied by rising prices. Sadly, the quality has also taken a nose-dive; the sashimi, once decent, now elicits a mere "meh." and so-so quality. I suggest everyone beware the overly positive and misleading reviews. We would like to see two menus: one budget-friendly and another maintaining the original size, weight, volume, and pre-pandemic quality. While we understand prices rise, we refuse to participate in the "shrinkflation" and "greedflation" game. To sum up. The current offerings are nothing short of insulting, leading to the loss of loyal customers. We're spreading the word: this "Japanese" restaurant has no honour. Not recommended Old review: SGH is a popular restaurant that is always busy. However, I have noticed some changes in the past few months that have led me to update my rating. First, the portions have become smaller. This is a common trend in restaurants, but it is disappointing to see it happen at SGH. The food is still good, but I am not getting as much for my money as I used to. Second, the restaurant has switched to using QR codes for menus. This is a progressive idea, but it has not been implemented well. The website menu is not up-to-date, so the prices on the QR code are incorrect, around 40% more is charged than the online menu prices. I brought this to the attention of the staff, and they updated the website later, However, this is still an inconvenience for customers. Third, the restaurant staff hovers around the table with the credit card machine while you are trying to pay the bill. This is very unprofessional and makes me feel pressured to pay quickly. I would prefer to be given the bill and have some time to review it before I pay. Overall, the food at SGH is still good, but the service and value have declined. I would recommend this restaurant to people who are looking for a quick and casual meal, but I would not recommend it for special occasions Parking: Parking lot is often full but you can usually find a spot in the side streets.

1-有些員工很認真在服務，這次消費遇到一個態度差又一副欠她幾百萬臉的糟女服務生，問她有沒有叉子，她回你「叉子都沒了，被客人使用完了，請問我們用筷子」，看很多人吃飽了，沒叉子你不去收桌，然後用極差口氣說沒叉子了。 2-另一個是你結帳時，店員會在你旁邊緊迫釘人的看著你給小費，你們啥服務都沒給，還遇到不給叉子的女服務生，到底為什麼要被強迫收高%的服務費？ 總之 餐點是好吃的 廁所超髒 零服務且遇到態度差的女服務生 但還是有些很熱誠的員工（老闆應該好好提拔！） 沒付高額服務費店員會看著你 是我這次用餐經驗

I liked the food, quality more than expectation. I didn't like services, servant wasn't friendly and helpful, maybe she was tired!

Perfect taste
