Sushi Gama

First time going to sushi gama and all I can say is perfect! Our server xin was awesome and energetic! Made our dinner experience delightful! Would definitely recommend the sashimi for you guys!

There is sushi all over nyc and this is a solid choice if you come. It seems like all the restaurants have the same lunch special. 2 or 3 rolls with a soup/salad and drink. We also tried the crispy rice appetizer that wasn’t on the menu but we asked for it. It wasn’t the best crispy rice I have had but decent. Very nice people and sushi was fresh. Good neighborhood spot when craving sushi.

We really wanted to like this restaurant because our server Xin took good care of us. He did not do anything wrong. However, the other waiter did not serve us at all. He stared at us to pay tips and pressured us to tip him more, but he didn’t make any effort. How dare he! Overall, it was just a deeply unpleasant experience. It's 2024 in the center of New York City; please educate and train your staff about customer service because this was unacceptable. I don’t like this feeling; it’s very disrespectful. While this is just an isolated incident and one of over two hundred reviews, I have a feeling that this uniquely poor service is indicative of a deeper management, staffing, or organizational culture issue with this restaurant. Even though we are regular customers, but that it was one of the worst dining experiences I've had. So disappointed.

This place was soooo good! Xin, our server was incredible. So nice and accommodating. The food was absolutely incredible and so unique. We sat at the table and didn't need a reservation.

Great local spot! We got the spicy crunch mango salmon tartar, the titanic roll, the red dragon roll and the wagyu fried rice. Everything was so good!!

This place is amazing!!! The food was great and the service was excellent. Xin was our bartender and he was so great!

Outstanding from start to finish. Our server xin was hilarious and gave us great suggestions for food and drinks. The Tekka Don is an absolute must!

Sushi Gama is a fantastic option for some fresh sushi with quick service and fair prices, especially during happy hour. Happy hour for food is from 12-6pm and drinks are from 3-7pm. We love this spot!
