Sushi Den

Our absolute go to sushi and Japanese place. Even after living in SF for 14 years sushi den is my favorite. The fish is good the rice is perfect (this can make or break sushi), and the menu is great for those who don’t want all sushi. Dynamite and Chirashi are the best. Chirashi is a bowl of sushi rice with an amazing variety of raw fish the chef picks. It’s usually the standbys: ahi, hamachi, crab, salmon, etc. great way to have a variety without picking individual pieces and more cost effective. And it’s beautiful! Take out is easy and we get it nearly weekly!

The omakase at Sushi Den was probably the best meal I've ever eaten. The chef was very friendly and explained each piece to us, including the sauce and garnish. The fish was perfect; each piece melted in my mouth. Definitely a treat worth indulging in at least once, if not more.

Best sushi spot in Denver hands down. Fish flown in from Japan daily are a must.

This was our first time going here as we have been seeking an alternative sushi place to Bamboo that is closer to us in Glendale. We think we found it. Our first impression of the restaurant was good. The ceilings are high with warm yellow lighting and the walls house modern art. The sushi bar is the heart of this establishment, though. We sat at the sushi bar and enjoyed three rolls and some crispy rice. The fish was as fresh as you could hope for, and the presentation and creativity of each dish really wowed us. We loved the use of fresh green ingredients to give life to some of the rolls. We ate crispy spicy tuna, new style salmon roll, firecracker tuna, and crispy bincho rolls. Our chef was extremely kind and checked in with us to help us pick our dishes which he then artfully prepared. Spent $95 total including tip. Even the beer was crisp and cold. We will definitely be back here. 10/10 would recommend and will likely bring guests here in the future.

You will not regret this. The most amazing food. The Miso Black cod is the best. Fish is flown in from Japan. This is absolutely the best food you will eat in the surrounding area. It is pricey but, so worth it.
