Food is good but this time I went I didn't get a single piece of oyster in the oysters and our table ordered 15 not one had oyster in it
I was nervous since the health code violation, but it appears they've got it together, it's the best it's ever been IMO
Loved it! Service was good and the food was delicious. There were a couple of items that I didn't care for, but that was 100% a personal taste thing. What I did really enjoy was: Buddha roll Yam tempura Rock &Roll Dynamite Roll Spring Rolls Also, it's a pretty place to go for lunch!
Our whole family loves coming here - 'all you can eat' is great with two 6;3: sons! Both the sushi and the Korean BBQA are great. Be warned that is you want a BBQ grill 'table' you need to reserve the day before. Otherwise, the kitchen will happily grill for you. Parking: This little strip mall can be quite busy at lunch and dinner. Because it is right on 16th Av NW, there isn't street parkcing out front, and nearby construction restricts the side street parking. So the parking is free, but a bit hit-and-miss.
Been here a few times, always left happy! Great value and tasty food. AYCE is awesome
I've been going to sushi bbq inn since 2010 (or even before). I have eaten here at its peak (when the oyster motoyaki was actually filled with oyster), its lowest (fish bones in spicy rolls and motoyaki filled with fake crab) and now in 2024... average (although the motoyaki is still fake crab). I would say this is actually an improvement. I've noticed the portion size is better (proportionate rice-fish ratio), and most of the cooked food has improved. The short ribs are still amazing! One item that had not improved is the chicken teriyaki. For the most part, this dish has been consistently good. However, the chicken is now tough, and the sauce is not making it any better. The service is excellent. They are friendly, attentive and add to the draw of this place.
