Sushi Bar Ajisai

Very good food; however, very overpriced. It was just over $175 (with tip) for two people with one doing only vegetarian, and neither having any alcohol just a couple of soda pops and a tea.

Absolutely incredible experience here. It's a small, intimate restaurant and the service and food was the best sushi I've had in BC. Prices are incredibly reasonable for what you get. Will definitely be back to this gem

I went to there last week. Because there’s no picture menu, I need time to see the menu. The waiter come to ask me and I said I need more time. After 5 more minutes, the waitress with glasses come to push me order and without any smile. The tip right now is very expensive and I don’t like this kind of service. Especially in Japanese restaurant which always offer best service.

Hmmm was not impressed with this sushi. Ordered a spicy tuna roll - was terrible and tasted like old fish - we threw it out.! California roll was the only roll that was ok and the dynamite roll was awful. It doesn’t even have a lot of prawn in it and tasted like a salad roll. For the price / this was the worst sushi I have had in a long time. Maybe because it’s take out but I would have better sushi at save on foods up the street. Sorry / but will never be back her.

This is one of the greatest sushi places I’ve ever went to, the food was fresh, the dipping and everything tasted great, there are lots of dishes on the menus, and I had a great time in here. It is slightly expensive though, but for good reason.

Very angry with the cashier! The service is so bad! When I order take out, she asked to wait outside.It’s cold. Why can't I wait inside? Even when I stood by the door, the cashier came and told me to wait outside again!!! She should apologize, so impolite and rude! I will never pay for tip for takeout again! So rude!

Very good food and service, bit noisy in general for me though

I recall having a good experience here before covid hit. But recently, it just hasn’t been as good as it was before. It doesn’t feel very fresh and the service isn’t as great. Seems like getting take out is better than eating at the restaurant. I’d give it a 3/5 since it’s still okay but just some things to improve on.
