When I walked in, I felt like I had interrupted a staff get together. The TV was showing TMZ and a woman badly injured by a bear in the hospital while the staff talked loudly from the back of the house. As a solo sushi diner, I was refused the ability to sit at the sushi bar that had 2 seats, one of which was used by an employee to chat with/ sushi cook. The food was good, but the vibe was really off. The waitress who served me sat and ate while she waited on me. That was weird. It all felt off. But I can say the waitress tried. Sorta. I doubt I’ll go back.
Bathrooms are disgusting edited to add the light switch was brown with scum there was literally poo on the toilet dispenser. which there was pink spray in the bathroom and I did wipe it off before i was able to use toilet. the switch and bottom of toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. thanks for the reply but you should seriously inspect your bathrooms for Real cleanliness not just the toilet seat and supplies.
10/10 ✨Hidden Gem Absolutely love this sushi place. It’s right by my work so I feel incredibly grateful. They have a wide selection of rolls at affordable prices. It’s honestly the best place I’ve found in terms of price and quality in and outside of the Denver area. I am obsessed with the Dynamite Roll. It is lightly deep fried with eel and cream cheese inside. On top, they drizzle eel and spicy mayo sauce and top it off with tobiko. I also love their lunch specials (pick two or pick three roll options) and their vegetarian rolls. They even have options for people who may really not like sushi or want more options… like the Kobe Beef Roll (it’s awesome and has soy paper). I also have tried their Volcano Roll and it was phenomenal. The service is always great and everyone is so kind every time I go. It is nowhere near WholeFoods or Grocery Store sushi by any means. If you think it is, maybe you just haven’t tried enough sushi to really make that kind of statement (commenting on a previous review) because that is just ridiculous. I’ve truly never had a bad experience here and I’ve eaten at Sushi Den & Uchi Denver for context. This place is outstanding all around.
Amazing food and sushi very nice people
I am writing an honest review for those that maybe are used to a more upscale, fresh sushi type of place. When I saw it had 4.6 stars I thought it must be really good. It was mediocre. Honestly, you can get the same quality and taste from the sushi stands at Whole Foods & King Soopers. For the same price you can go to Sushi Sasa or Sushi Den, both who have their fish flown in daily. Way too expensive for far less quality sushi.
Always great food and the BEST service. Everyone is so kind there. The food is top notch and I've never had a complaint.
The food here was great, especially the sashimi! The best part was the hospitality- we had an incredibly sweet waitress who treated us so kindly and was especially sweet to my son. I’d go back just to have her wait on us again! Great experience
