Pizza is ok. Service is terrible. I hope the manager is not the owner.

Came here for some pizza after visiting a local brewery. We ordered a couple of slices of pizza, a salad, and garlic knots. The food was great! Very tasty. We had an issue with payment as 1 of us was paying for everything but the cashier split the salad off so we had to pay separately for that which didn’t make sense. Definitely plenty of space inside to enjoy beers & pizza and people watch!

This place is always awesome. The food is excellent and the workers are always nice. Pizza and garlic knots were fresh and delicious. Highly recommend.

I love the variety of pizzas and the crust is soooo good too. Plenty of sitting. Sometime you will see a lot of families with young kids over. You get your pizza pretty fast if you just order the ones that are ready. We never order the whole pie before so don’t know about the wait time. Fridays evenings are usually pretty busy probably cause of the farmers market but we still didn’t wait for too long to get our pizzas. Highly recommend!!

First-time customers. We had the Calzone, and it was HUGE and stuffed with pepperoni and sausage and cheese It didn't DISAPPOINT ME I had to take my time to enjoy aka to savor it. Then we had the nerve to get cookies , The Rocky Road and the Chocolate chips.....I had the Rocky Road cookie it was soft and filled with nothing but your hearts desires (gotta get that heart ❤️ eyes to help me describe) Sooo with all that mouth watering goodness, I give SURFRIDER PIZZA 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ and a round of applause

THE PIZZA is fantastic. One of my favorites in La Mesa. I prefer to eat at the location it is great for groups of friends and teams to gather and enjoy a meal together. The place gets packed but it is always fun and there is always a great neighbor or friend there making the place feel like personal. Kid-friendliness: All paper and plastic makes it easy to clean up, picnic benches makes it easy to serve, open seating find a place that works for your family.
