Great food, comfortable atmosphere!
Fun trivia night on Wednesday’s. The surf rider pizza was very good!! Thin crust style pizza that’s crispy and flavorful. The garlic knots were a bit doughy but overall good, the ranch was average but nothing amazing. The cookies were just fine, a bit dry. Overall I’ll definitely be back for the pizza!!
I recently popped into this venue for a quick bite to eat. They had a variety of different styles to choose from. Both slices I tried were tasty. They had a pretty solid lunch special also. There’s tons of room both inside and outside and they had a ton of brew on tap. Cool spot if your looking for good pizza and a casual place to hangout.
We just visited this place for the first time. I enjoyed my meal of a combo of a slice of pizza (double portion) and Greek salad. The pizza was tasty with a thin crunchy crust. It was their version of a margherita pizza. It could have used a bit more cheese and sauce. Items are sold a la carte but they do offer some combo deals. They also offer some delicious looking desserts like giant cookies, cannoli and other pastries. We ate in the outside dining area which was pretty cool and airy for the summer evenings. They had TVs on the walls so we could enjoy watching a sporting event. It was a quaint part of downtown La Mesa so it was a nice area to walk in.
Pizza was tasty, warm from the oven and offered either by the slice or an entire pizza both options are plentiful and delicious. Outdoor seating and location in old Town was perfect for a relaxing summer evening.
Food was great, staff was very friendly, could use some background music playing to pick up the vibe a little bit.
Cardboard pizza. Cafeteria style service. Zero management. Either it's the clientele or the lack of management that makes it a terrible eating experience, given that there's kids everywhere running around and climbing all over the front of the building and on furniture, and nobody does anything about it. Obviously continuous problem because there's signs on the wall saying "no running". It's getting 2 stars instead of 1 because at least they carry Pepsi.
