Worst experience I’ve had in a long time. Had reservations and was not seated for an hour and a half after reservation time. The food and drinks were slow to arrive and some never arrived. Check was not split between the large group, after explaining the split of couples twice. The food was not great. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this establishment until after the “New Restaurant Obsession” is over.

Really good food staffing could be better but good food overall

This review is for their new location on 903 Old Monrovia Road in the same shopping center as Stars and Strikes. I haven’t eaten at their food truck before and this was my first experience at their location. I understand that they are still in their soft opening phase, and I took that into consideration while writing this. The setting of the restaurant was on point! There were classic comic book posters from both DC and Marvel with BAM! And POW! action theme throughout. The only downer was the music choice. I was expecting to hear superhero music, but what we got was R&B. The naming of the dishes were creative and lived up to their names. I personally got the Hulk. It was served with bright green waffles, eggs, candy bacon, and sausage. The sauce that was drizzled over it was their Maple Heat which has a little kick to it but is not overwhelming. My wife got the Sub Zero pancakes. They were beautifully stacked with blueberries throughout the cakes. It was served on a dish that seemed been put in the freezer to add dramatic effect. The only downside to it was the fact the plate was so cold, it cooled the pancakes too quickly. My suggestion would be to place something between the plate and the pancakes to stop them from getting cold. My child had the kid’s meal that came with half of a red waffle, eggs, and candy bacon. While the food was fine, it came out much later than my food and my wife’s.

Where to start the hostess was so nice from the moment we walked in the door, the decor was nice and not overly cheesy like you would think for a themed place, Jebrisha our server was super helpful . She gave us her recommendations and they did not disappoint, the waffle tacos were delicious and three is all you need, my husband got the juggernaut(the red waffle sandwiches) and can barely move…lol , my brother in-law got the hulk(green waffles) and loved it he really enjoyed his fresh fruit. It was a great overall experience and we will definitely be back to try other menu items☺️☺️☺️ PS do yourself a favor and get the candied bacon

I got the phenomenal strawberry pancake and hash browns. I plan to try something new each time I order. The menu is unique & the presentation is as good as the food.

We came here for the soft opening. The food was excellent, highly recommend checking this place out for breakfast or lunch. The lunch menu has plenty of vegetarian options as half of the menu (the hero side) is vegetarian!

Fouts and service were spot on! I had the Loki and my son had the kids breakfast- they dyed the waffle green so he could "have the hulk." 4 stars is due the music choice. I think there could be more "fun" interactive things for the kids but otherwise the decor is pretty cool!

Very delicious ,high quality vegan food. Very impressive.
