We ordered takeout this morning for breakfast... Wifey had a skillet and I had a pork chop special. The pluses: You get a decent amount of food for the price.. Order was complete relatively quickly. Pancakes were decent... The minuses: Nothing was cooked with any seasoning... no salt... NOTHING!!! (Salt & pepper were included as condiments)... My pork chops were overcooked, too the point that one was just inedible (see pic).. The weird: Each order came with 2 pancakes. For some reason they were placed in the same to-go container! That made no sense to us, what if we weren't 'sharers ' like that? Parking: Restaurant is located in central business district and parking is scarce in a Saturday morning.
Great little diner off the highway.. you pass industrial factories on the way which are quite impressive. The food was amazing and the service was great. We had the country fried steak and the chocolate chip pancakes... coffee was tasty. Price was easy on the wallet as well.
No Flavor coffee cream, The food is o k not that great but always gotta wait to get seated.. The whole restaurant needs a upgrade.
This restaurant in Whiting, IN is a hidden gem. I ordered an egg special with bacon, hashbrowns and pancakes. It's a basic breakfast but a really good meal. My husband got the Melting Pot skillet which comes with ham, bacon and sausage and a side of pancakes. We both got a drink and the bill was only $23!!! Unbelievable price!! We usually pay at least $40 for the two of us.
They don't wear hair nets hair in my food. Girl in kitchen hair done like we are at a night club nasty
