I ordered a black rice with stewed beef, nothing was good

My favorite dish here is the spaghetti and I get it every time literally never tried anything else because it’s soooo good!!! I recommend this restaurant because unlike every other Haitian restaurant they customize your food and take special orders. I love it

I came in pretty late tonight after 11pm and was served delicious fresh food. I ordered the griot with beans and rice with macaroni. Everything was so good and they were so nice. They definitely won a new customer tonight.

I seldom write reviews - and none this fast. Feels just like back home in South Florida...I'm typing this review with the Porc Griot flavor still on my finger tips. I literally placed my order about 8PM and I'm typing this review at 8:50PM. A few words for this joint: LEGIT CERTIFIED AUTHENTIC This place is the epitome of quaint and meager, but damn good food. If you want an exquisite dining experience, book a dinner at the Eagle's Nest... However, if you want some Haitian cuisine that tastes like it was cooked 1,657 miles south, take your pick of the menu!

The food was really good and the smoothies were great as well. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and was helped right when I walked in the door. They give you a lot of food. You will not regret your order. The photos will speak volumes. Will definitely be returning to order again and again.

I was looking some real Haitian food that is not overpriced to reset my taste buds from all of that over processed American food i was sceptical knowing all the bad reviews other Haitian restaurant been having but from my first bite into that Grio i could hear the " konpa music" playing in my head inducing me into a state of uncontrollable"gouyad dance " that's how good the food was.

Wow!!! Finally! I've been in Indianapolis for 6months and I thought I would never taste Haitian food like if I was in Haiti and then I google Haitian restaurant near me and I've found Sunrise. The food taste is EXACTLY the same as Haïti. If you're tired eating Pizzas or Burgers (Trash food), just order your food at Sunrise. I'm so satisfied and so proud of you guys

This was my first Haitian food experience and it is the best, most fulfilling and igniting food I've ever tried, pleasant wholesome perfection and each dish satisfied different areas of my hunger, I am very bummed that I am not a local because this was the best first impression and everything I'd hoped for my first time trying my cultures food, I was raised in the U.S and had yet to have the chance to try my homelands food, I want moreee!
