Their pastrami sandwich is excellent! The clam chowder was also very nice. The location is very clean and the staff is friendly.

Good sandwiches but to slow getting food out to customers. I guess I could call a head of time lol if you only have a hr for lunch U maybe ok but if a have half hr for lunch u should make a sandwich at home

Absolute worst Italian deli I've ever been to, the first time I went I got an Italian sub and the bread was rock hard I decided to give it another shot, the second time I ordered a meatball sandwich and they gave me 2 pieces of bread with a container of meatballs, I called to ask about it and the guy on the phone said "that's too bad" and hung up I called back, then the "manager" answers the phone and refuses to give a refund. Both were very rude and offered no way to make it right.

I met someone for lunch. First time there. I found the staff to be both friendly and helpful. The food was good . Will return

Omg. Thx everyone 1st time here. Let me tell you. My new favorite place. I even ordered something Not on the menu & finger licking good & it's just down the street.. Great welcoming friendly service. Love the vibe.

I go almost every other Thursday/Friday night. One of my favorite spots in town. Must try if you're in the area.

Sunnyside Deli is a fixture in the Clovis and Kings Canyon area. Was sad to hear that the original owners sold during the pandemic, but new ownership has picked right up when Sunnyside Deli was and kept going forward. My favorite is the hot pastrami, and it still rocks! In the past, the grilled cheese has been amazing as well. Staff is polite and patient. Even when busy, things moving well. Go here, support local over chains like the ones that tell you how good their food is in their name. Google people, good food!
