Avoid the lines in the weekend and come during the week day. Service is friendly and fast. We got the galbi jjim that comes with braised beef, back bone, oxtail and cheese on top. It was very good, but next time I thing we will try it without the cheese.
Open 24 hours! The "Yuk Gae Jang" dish was a very large portion. I was there for dinner but I noticed that they also have breakfast specials.
We waited for 30mins to be seated. People just write their names down here. There is no hostess or the servers don't keep track of people coming in. We waited 15 mins for the server to bring out the side dishes then we saw other people who sat down after us got their order taken. We waited then another 20mins to finally get the attention of the server and order. But they were out of the number #26 and #24. I never experienced this much disappointment at a restaurant in the past 10 years. I would never come to this location ever again. The ktown or Rowland heights location is much better location. They don't run out of food, the service is better, and the wait times are more bearable.
We went for a Saturday lunch. There was no wait. Service was prompt and relatively friendly. We ordered the galbi tang and galbi jjim with cheese. They add the cheese on top of galbi jjim and server torches it before serving. Good flavor. Wish we had ordered it spicy instead of mild!
This is my comfort korean restaurant. The best korean beef soups & side dishes. The food is always comforting & delicious. I have taken my friends to this place many times haha!!
