Sumo Japanese Steakhouse

We left the place before eating. Very very regrettable.

We wasted $150 on dinner here. The only thing that was even decent was the rice but the chef messed up our order and gave us the wrong rice. The food was incredibly overseasoned and we took the leftovers to go but ultimately threw them away because we wound up in the toilet immediately after dinner. The waitress was very good and attentive and the chef was entertaining but it was not worth the price. We won't be returning.

My husband and I had not had habachi in a while and being how it’s rather pricey it’s a treat. So we went here for the first time and it was very disappointing. The staff were friendly and service was decent but the food I hate to say was awful. We both got the same meal ,steak and chicken that comes with salad and soup. Both were inedible, the salad was wilted and hardly any dressing the soup was a bowl of salt basically. We waited a very long time for the chef to appear when he came I think he was a little confused with so many people at the table because our order was wrong. When we got our food it had again sooo much seasoning and salt it was inedible. The lemon was so over powering you couldn’t taste the anything else on the chicken. Neither of us hardly ate any of our food and still ended up with stomach issues that evening. They also miss charged our bill and rushed us out the door to leave. The meal was very expensive for two people and for that kind of money you hope for good food. It was very disappointing and we won’t be back.

Jesus martinez was my chef and he did an amazing job keeping a good atmosphere and making us laugh and making incredible food along with putting on a good show, 10/10 absolutely recommended

Shout out to Jesus the Hibachi cook. Best one I had at Sumo and always cooks your food how you want and very Generous. 5 stars to Jesus the cook and me and my wife will be back just because of him.

Great place but management is rude. Food is really good but it's pricey!

Our chef Rachel was awesome! We had a great experience and the food/drinks were delicious! We can’t wait to come back
