The food was great and the service even better, we will definitely return.
Our go-to place in Summerland for breakfast and lunch!
Iconic! Beautiful house, beautiful views of the ocean, great sandwich selection! Update Feb 2023: Huge portions, I couldn't even finish the granola and yogurt. Those with me also had huge 2 + 2 and oatmeal. Prices are pretty reasonable, only 11.95 for the yogurt and granola 13.95 for eggs and bacon and French toast. Even though it was a very rainy day the place was crazy busy by 10:00 a.m. hardly a table available. So don't come mid-morning on Saturday expecting to get a table quickly. There was a big line. UPDATE Jan '24: Everything's still good, I'm eating there every Saturday morning and It seems less busy than it did a year ago. Portions are good but prices are up as they are everywhere. Don't miss out on the Feeder Club card! You get a free meal after only five or six visits!
Excellent food at reasonable cost
It nice historical house, and the staff is great, the is tasty
Underwhelmed, expensive (nearly $20) for tuna salad sandwich for lunch with "funky" potato salad, that's about to go-bad (I was offered macaroni salad to make-up). Nothing special, but friendly service. Next time, I'd rather make the tuna salad sandwich at home.
Summerland Beach Cafe is my single favorite establishment I’ve ever patronized. They have had incredibly consistent and friendly staff for decades along with an unbeatable menu of hearty breakfast and lunch options with a comforting atmosphere overlooking the idyllic Summerland. In my dozens to hundreds of times dining here I have never had a bad experience I would recommend the King Olds Combo for anyone looking to try a wide variety of their iconic breakfast options
