I think that this place offers a lot of sweet atmosphere, and a ton of options on their menu. I found the prices to be high for the quality and quantity of food they offer you. The cocktails were great! However, I found the old fashioneds starting at 30$ to be off kilter.
The interior design of this restaurant is truly beautiful. You really do feel like you're in a beach house in California despite the horror of Chicago's frigid temperatures. I came for the weekend brunch and ordered the short rib hash, fluffy buttermilk pancakes, and the pineapple kick from the drink menu. The short ribs hash was an amazing combination of flavors and while the pancakes were huge, the taste wasn't extraordinary, just your simple traditional pancakes. Loved the atmosphere and bakery of this sport and would definitely come back to try the dinner menu!
Service and atmosphere were amazing. Unfortunately, pizza was cold and over baked. I suggest to go there and keep gastronomic expectations low and enjoy your company.
When you have a reservation it seems staff doesn’t care that you do and will still have you wait over 40 minutes that you scheduled and then when you ask they say we are sorry ..won’t return. Please stop playing with your customers time.
So nice stepping into a summer themed restaurant in the middle of winter! Loved the restaurant week deal.
Stopped by for breakfast on a Saturday. We got there at opening and the place filled up quick so I’m glad we made a reservation. For a gloomy winter morning the light filled dining room was a mood booster. So bright and airy. Whitney was our waitress and she was very friendly and service was quick. I had the avocado toast, coffee and a mimosa. Everything was so good I finished my entire plate.
Decent spot for a fresh meal. The cookies they sell at the front counter are some of the best I’ve ever had!
