Summa Sushi

In short, the food took too long, some of our oder was missing, and there was hair in the rolls. The details, if you're interested: while the waitstaff were hopping and doing their best to provide great service, everything else was zero stars. We waited way too long for our food. They only had 2 sushi chefs for the entire restaurant, which was packed at the time. One roll never even made it to our table. Once we finished eating, we ordered another roll and requested they also send the forgotten roll. We waited so long, again. We finally gave up and asked for the check. The staff was super apologetic and they gave us the 2 rolls for free, which were magically done when my husband went to pay. We took them to-go, since we had already been there well over an hour. However, when we got home we discovered that one of the rolls had several pieces of short, black hair in it. Not dissimilar to the hair of the sushi chefs who, upon later reflection, I realized hadn't been wearing hairnets or hats. We only discovered the hair because I removed a piece of fish from the top of the roll and could then see the hair in the rice. I was disgusted; how much hair did we consume in the restaurant?? It's been a few days and I still feel queasy thinking about it. We were passing through on our way home from a trip and it was the only place in the area. I'm so glad we don't live there, with that place as the closest option for sushi.

I paid 60 dollars for 30 bucks worth of food, at best! Hmmmmm not okay. Nope. Not coming back. But thank you. The tiny amount of food I got was good.

The rolls were delish, the service was terrible.we kept asking for items like an extra plate, a straw, a refill on water, napkins and asked 3 times and never got them. Only for the rolls for takeout will i go there.

Loved it! The gentleman at the sushi bar are amazing and funny! You will not be disappointed!

My husband and I love Summa Sushi. We come here quite often and have never been disappointed. Staff is always sweet and the Sushi chefs always greet us and talk to us.
