Shawarma in tanoor bread was good, the tanoor bread was the star. The Chicken Tikka was good too and very filling, it's amazing that they give all 3 types of rice they carry to get a taste of all them and the platter comes with tanoor bread, hummus and garlic sauce too.

Shawarma places in Toronto have really fallen in quality - Sumaq is the remedy to all that. Every time I visit, I'm taken back to the authentic Middle Eastern experience: Syria, Yemen, etc. Chicken Shawarma wrap here is top tier and soul satisfying. The people are warm, inviting and attentive. I highly recommend.
