I ordered Pavbhaji. Butter and oil are smelling badly. Pavbhaji is sour. It appeared, for sure, it is not the fresh food. I had stomach upset whole night after eating this. Worst experience. $8 + tax is worst to spend here.
Great food. Hard to read the menu if you don't speak the language, all the dishes are in their original names without translation. Limited help from the staff. I eat a lot of indian food but this place makes me realize how much of it I don't know. However, don't hesitate to order at random, the food is stellar. It's order at the counter and there are some pictures and some of the names are familiar (they have great dosas for example, and the puri is fantastic), but I have no idea what a lot of it is. I've never been disappointed though. I believe it's all vegetarian (although I don't know that for sure either, only saying it because I've never gotten meat in what I've ordered). Great portions to boot. So much food in fact that I've never gotten any of the sweets so I can't vouch for those, although they look great.
Highly recommend that you check Sukhadia’s out! The sweets are great and the customer service was exceptional. I really wish I grabbed the guy’s name so I could give him a shout out, but he was wonderful. Talked us through the options, provided samples, and had such a positive attitude the whole time. Will definitely be coming back!
I have been going to Sukhadias for over a decade. Usually their service is average but the food is great. I purchased to go Chaats today (samosa/paapdi/kachori chaat) and was shocked by what I brought home. For $8 my to-go paadi chaat the saddest looking dish. I couldn’t believe the amount I received for the price! This goes for all the other Chaats as well. Will need to rethink going here again even though this used to be a staple for me.
For some of the food flavor is missing especially chole and Rava dosa. Bhatura was soft and palak panned was good. Gulab jamun was as hard as marbles especially after paying $3.50 for 2 marbles.
I bought an assortment of sweets. All of them were spoiled or almost went bad. I also got rasmalai which was bloated due to gas and when I opened the lid it smelled awful.
Rush of blood to the head. Sweet Customer Service! Unfortunately when it comes to the sweets, rush of blood to the head.! I had many sweets in the past in other sweet shops on Devon. Sadly this place is just way way way too sweet. so much Sugar Syrup.. If you’re looking for a brain hemorrhage this is the place to be. By the way most of their sweet are stale. I was so disappointed and so were my Indian Parents. To Sukhadia's Sweets and Snacks. Yes, I know really well about Indian sweets me being Indian myself. When it comes to your dry sweets you are a complete liar liar pants on fire. This was an honest review to whom it may concern. Please don’t you want customers to come? don’t push them away with all that sugary syrup so heavy. Just to make more money you put all that Sugary syrup to make the sweets more heavier? Consumers, The more heavier the sweets more weight and more Buck from your wallet.
