Excellent bakery with great service. I called the day before my daughter’s birthday. They delivered a dozen wonderful cupcakes to her dorm within hours. My daughter loved them. The person who answered was friendly and accommodating. I will definitely check out this place when I am visiting Chicago.
Excellent customer service and recognition
This place is a trash! Specially the staff and service suck. First, when you enter their store they look at your like zombies! No hi, no welcome no nothing. Then you have to wait for 10min just for the staff to respect you enough to come to the cashier section and give you service. I live next door so I was going to palmer house the other day and the store employee was trying to pull a cart out of the store so I hold the door for her and she not only didn't say thank you, she didn't even bother to look at me holding the door for her like how more disrespectful can you possibly be? All the girls working here are depressed, soulless and not even trained to do customer service. Their service is so bad you don't even wanna try their cookies. I visited two times and both times had to walk out without buying anything because of their insanely weird, awkward and unprofessional staff including the (manager/owner/ the asian woman in her 40s that's always there). Awful
This is the most sexist place ever, when women walk in the servers immediately greet women + ask what they’d like to order , if a man walks in, he has to work 10 X as hard to get service … women lead business… more like sexiest business
I absolutely LOVE their cake pops. I first tried them during a work party and was immediately in love. Now I will crave them and no other cake will satisfy the craving
Love the cake pops ! And the macaroons varieties !
The absolute worst, crunchiest macarons ive ever had. Idk if they were stale and old or just waaaaaay overcooked but i assure you, a macaron shouldnt crunch and shatter everywhere in one bite. Waste of my time and my money!
I have never understood the appeal of macrons as every one I've tried was hard and crumbly.. until last night. Holy moly macron.. I get it. Brought some home and still perfectly soft. Sugar Bliss wins the macron game.
You can never go wrong with cake pops... and Sugar Bliss showed up for me when I needed a bunch of them last minute for a birthday celebration. The employee I spoke to on the phone was so nice and had them waiting for me so I could run in and avoid a parking ticket. I also love to support local, women-owned businesses and over the years I've had the pleasure of getting to know Teresa Ging. She hosted a Sweet 16 Party this year, celebrating 16 years in business. The room was filled with over 100 people who love doing business with Sugar Bliss and supporting Teresa. The dessert display was incredible and at the event, the table was totally empty! Not one macaroon was left! What does that tell ya?
excellent macarons, the texture has the crunch without the crumble [if you know what i mean]. can't wait to try other confections
