Sufi Mediterranean Cuisine

I highly recommend Sufi for your catering needs. I organized the Nowruz event for California Zoroastrian Center in San Diego. I worked with Afshin from Sufi. He is the best. He was patient through the entire process from selecting food all the way to serving foods at event. Very cooperative. He supported us even during the event when we needed more material. Good quality of food and wonderful support. We had awesome feedback from our guests. I am looking forward to working with SUFI and Afshin for our future events. CZC-SD

I recommend tahdig with stew and kedab

We tried a new menu; tachin and gormesabsi. The new individual tachinn was Sogi and Moshi. The green stew was so watery I was disappointed every time I visited this place.

It was so average! The lamb shank was was not good enough!

I wish I could give below 0 rating. During evening, I ordered chicken boneless shawarma wrap, they gave me under cooked chicken with uncooked fries.

The name of the Restaurant is Sufi which is a name with a long history in the Muslim World. This is quite a place as they feature live entertainment such as Belly Dancers and others. The Restaurant is set up for "Family Style Seating" as there are long tables where many people can sit. Next door is their own Grocery Store called The International Market with a full range of Mediterranean items as well as Halal Meats and a fully staffed Bakery. If go to the back of Grocery Store you can order Menu Items from Sufi and use the small "Dining Area" ...I usually get a "Take -Out Order" from the Market and when I have guests we go to the Sufi Restaurant. I think that the food is absolutely delicious and I have never been disappointed!! Also, excellent service and the Naan Bread fresh made from the Bakery is incredible! I highly recommend this place! Vegetarian options: I personally like the Lamp Kabob with Hummus and Basmati Saffron Rice platter. But for a vegetarian try the Falafels..with Tahini Sauce...MMM Delicious!! Parking: There are several shops in the area so the parking lot is very large. However if you are there some nights that are considered as "favorites" you may have to find a spot.
