CHECK YOUR RECEIPT. I’m not normally one to complain, especially about fast food, but I went to pick up a sandwich on 3/14 around 4PM. First off the food was like frozen. More importantly though, when it was time to pay the screen prompted if I wanted to leave a tip. Normally I actually do leave a small tip for Subway employees. However, the employee was talking on the phone the whole time, and gave me like the smallest amount of meat. So no I didn’t feel like leaving a tip. I am absolutely certain I did not press a tip button, I just put my phone up for Apple Pay to skip it, she pressed something, and I noticed the price went up a bit. I thought maybe it was taxes or I was imagining it but it had already went through. After, she tried to keep the receipt but I asked for it. I checked and SHE TIPPED HERSELF 15% ($1.10) WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. I was so shocked and I’m not confrontational but I was so angry. I asked if you there was an automatic tip and she said “you must have selected it”, I was in a rush and I wasn’t going to let her gaslight me if I did or did not tip over a dollar. So I asked for more meat because if she’s going to skimp me I’m getting something out of it too. I was going to let it go but I’m honestly wondering how long she’s been doing this scam for. I am going to complain because that is so wrong. And it’s crazy because if she just did her job right I would have left a better tip.
Vegetarian options: Bad customer service ever
Trust the reviews. Would never eat here again. They only had one type of bread, no spinach, limited sauces, no sauce cups. They had me repeat my order multiple times because they weren’t paying attention. Stingy with the ingredients and sauce. Poor customer service. They obviously don’t care.

Steer clear of the Subway at [in the san fran outlet mall] unless you enjoy being scammed and treated like a nuisance. The owner has mastered the art of stinginess, limiting toppings and sauces as if they're made of gold. The only thing more tasteless than their sandwiches is their abysmal customer service. Prepare to be verbally assaulted by the owner's rudeness. This Subway deserves zero stars for its disgraceful practices and utter lack of decency. Avoid like the plague unless disappointment is your idea of a meal.
Worst place to eat. Customer service was terrible and very mean. Place is dirty.
