It's an amazing smaller music venue. The atmosphere was just as great as the service at the bar. It's location is in a great part of town and is easy to find. I'll definitely be coming back in the near future.

I don't think they serve food here. You come here to see your favorite performers, have a few drinks, and get up close. It's a classic Chicago venue that's been around for decades. Old school atmosphere. There is a second balcony that's like a small catwalk with a bar and restrooms. If you get there early enough you can get a spot on the railing, else it's difficult to see anything. The main floor is where it's at. Always a safe and good time.

I came here to see Jazmin Bean. Of course, the show was amazing but the venue was lacking. There are two floors which people can freely go upstairs or downstairs to see the show. That was poorly managed by staff, since people would tend to just stand on the stairs and someone fell off at one point. I noticed at least one member from the staff (security) was smoking. In an indoors venue… the merch table was also upstairs and there was no proper signs or anything to let us know where the merch was at. Only a small piece of paper on a table obscured by the crowd. And once you got upstairs, again, there was no sign to say where exactly the merch was at, we only found it when someone yelled that the merch table was closing in 10 minutes. Overall, it was pretty disorganized and disappointing venue.

Dark, intimate venue with 2 floors that has a older speak-easy-almost charm - I went to a Saturday "Riot! at the Disco: Emo and Pop Punk all night" DJ event and the place was packed and so vibrant - couldn't help getting caught up in everyone's excitement! Staff was really great and very efficient - security was ever present and vigilant just in case, which is great when a lot of drunk people are moshing at each other all night! The drinks are affordable - cans, bottles, drafts what have you - and I can attest that the Long Island I had might've been the strongest and best value I've had in Chicago (without tasting like it - man that bartender hooked me up)! It was super crowded when we went (honestly probably past fire code) but thank goodness for 2nd floor near the railing - I think it was less loud and honestly better to hear up there without the sweaty standing-room only moshing (personally - it was fun to watch but I was glad I wasn't in it). It was a blast! Coat check was full - Be prepared to carry / keep your winter gear on you and also dress lightly - the place was overly warm due to all the people and dancing. I also highly recommend bringing concert-level ear protection - this place is small and gets LOUD! Overall, fun and unique venue.

Really good curations for events but the bathrooms could be a lot better.
